Twenty-two years ago on July 30, 1994 I walked down the aisle of a Church on my dad’s arm. At the end of that aisle was my fiance waiting for me. On that day we said our vows to each other. We promised to loves each other in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad times, for richer or poorer. Trust me we have had our fair share of all of them from miscarriages to heart attacks. Through it all my husband and I stayed true to each other and I believe our marriage is stronger for it all.
I am beyond thankful for my husband and our marriage. In these past 22 years he has become more then just my husband. He is my best friend. My confidant. The father of my children. The one person I talk to about everything and anything. He is the one who’s shoulder I want to cry on. He is the one I love laughing with most. And at this point in our marriage and lives he knows me better then anyone else does or ever could. He knows what I like and want. He knows what I’m going to say before I even say it. He is my PERFECT match made in Heaven!
I pray that God allows us another twenty-two PLUS years together!
I would have written this blog last weekend when it was July 3oth, but my husband and I were celebrating in New York City and by the time we got back home I didn’t feel like writing a blog. We did have a great time together last weekend. We stayed at a nice Hotel on Park Avenue. We went to see Jersey Boys. We had gyros. We went to an “Irish Pub” for lunch. We had supper one night at a British restaurant. We walked and we walked and we walked. Did I mention we walked? We/I did some shopping at Macy’s, Crocs and at one store in the Manhattan Mall.
