Below you can read our story of how Bears With Apps came to be…
My husband and I have always worked on a variety of projects together, each supporting the other in what we are doing. He supports and helps me with my books and blog and I test and review apps he has made in the past.
When the iPad first came out it was a family support project, with our children contributing ideas and testing “Dad’s Apps” — However as time passed on his work became more focused and after he accepted a position as an executive at a large and fast-growing technology startup he was unable to continue the ‘side work’ for the apps.
Over the years the apps he developed began to fall out of the App Store and the combination of a heavy work schedule and some health issues made it clear he would not be able to resume the App Development project in the near future.
There are some great apps that had been developed and a lot of users who found them very useful over the years. I also have some ideas for some more great apps! Working together we set up my new business and now the App Development process is my venture! With the help of some outside consultants to fill the “tech need” (I am not an app developer), I was off and running and Bears With Apps was created!
